Couldn’t agree more Rob, couldn’t agree more. Haven’t lived in the UK now for three years, never missed it for even a day, no plans to return.

spent a year in Tauranga but had to come back to the UK. wished I had’nt. UK what a dump. I was born and grew up here i’m sorry to say, still going back soon for good. I thought NZ was a great place to live and maybe your right to say their 10 years behind us,what has that 10 years done for the UK. All we have done is to send our stress levels throu the roof and let ourkids run riot,what a great way to live

Super post, well written – picked up on your blog from google alerts on crowdsourcing – but reading this made me nostalgic about my travels in Kiwiland. How about turning this into a book – a kind of petiteanglaise – confessions of a geek in NZ – kiwigeek?
